This tool helps convert numbers to text. For example 10 to “Ten”.
This software offers users the capability to convert numbers in MS Excel spreadsheets to the names of numbers instead of numeric values. For example a number like 10 would get converted to a text string ”Ten”. It also offers number to word feature required in currency related transactions. For example $3.45 will become “Three dollar and forty five cents”. Other currency types can be used. This has the potential to save time when these kinds of conversion are required. This tool is a MS Excel plug-in and works with Excel 2000 and higher versions. In the combined menu when the plug-in is installed, the file option has a sub-menu of select number cells to text. A second option is a sub-menu item of converting currency to text.
With such a simple arrangement most users will find it very easy to use. All you need to do is select the cells you want the conversion to be done and then click on one of the selections to get it done. Value contained in each cell is considered a number by itself and a converted text is substituted for it. Same is true of the cells you select that hold currency numbers. The full text string for the currency number will be substituted by the tool. This options list also has a third selection that lets you “remove this add-on from Excel”. No matter how big the spreadsheet is, this functionality will work anywhere in the sheets. This is a handy little tool and works well.
